One of the best opportunities to show your appreciation for the women in your life is coming up in February, and no, we’re not talking about Valentine’s Day. Instead, we mean the day before, Galentine’s Day, a newish holiday devoted to celebrating the love women have for each other.

This concept was first proposed in a 2010 episode of Parks and Recreation, when main character Leslie Knope took all her ladies out to lunch, gave them gifts and officially declared February 13th “Galentine’s Day . . . only the best day of the year.” We here at Schaff Floral are happy to participate in any occasion that gives us reason to focus on love.
